Mission Statement
Charlie’s Place was founded to prevent the suffering of animals, provide a public service through a knowledgeable wildlife rescue, and to educate.
We rescue animals via abandonment and relinquishment, and rehabilitate wildlife for release. Animals who come into our care are afforded all available opportunities for recovery, providing individual, specialist care that each animal needs.
The welfare of animals is our utmost priority and we ensure that all animals are assessed and given the care that they necessitate. Domestic and farmed animals will be rehomed into suitable, life-long homes and wildlife will be released back into the wild. For any animal who needs specialist care and an appropriate home does not come forward, they will be afforded sanctuary and the care that they require. No healthy animal will be euthanised, and this is only carried out when it is in the best interest of the animal.
